Rebates & Funding
You do not need a referral to book an assessment or therapy session with us. We can also see children receiving the following financial assistance:
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
We can see participants with self-managed and plan-managed funds.
Medicare Rebates: Chronic Disease Management Plan
Your GP may be able to provide you with a referral for up to five Medicare-subsidised sessions per calendar year. Please speak to your GP regarding your child's eligibility.
Medicare Rebates: Helping Children with Autism (HCWA)
If your child has a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, their paediatrician or psychiatrist may be able to provide you with a referral for an assessment and up to twenty therapy sessions that will be subsidised by Medicare.
Private Health Funds
If your extras cover includes speech pathology services, your child can receive a rebate on their assessments and/or therapy sessions.
